Small Animal Advances (SAA) is an international, peer-reviewed open-access journal that aims to publish high-quality manuscripts. All accepted articles are published quarterly in open-access full text. SAA publishes the results of original scientific research, reviews, case reports, and short communications on diseases and medicine related to small ruminants and non-ruminant animals. The prefix DOI code of the journal is 10.58803/saa.  

To ensure publication ethics, SAA follows the guidelines put forward by ICMJE and COPE.

Website Archiving

This journal utilizes the PKP (LOCKSS), Portico, and Internet archive systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Self-Archiving

Authors may archive the final published version of their articles in personal or institutional repositories immediately after publication.
